Johan Laursen reported snapopen working well on FreeBSD also. The only fix needed in the -ipath fix described on the Snapopen on a Mac article:

Replace the -iwholename with -ipath in the ‘find’ command.

    Thanks for sharing.

    1. Hello Mads!

I’m a big fan of your SnapOpen plugin to Gedit, I think that is my favorite plugin of Gmate collection, any way..

The point is, that now I’m using Mac in my office (and Linux in my home), I have used gedit for a couple of years, and I don’t want pass to Textmate instead.

At this point, I have gedit and gmate plugins installed into my Mac OS Leopard, but when I tried to enable the plugin, it just change to disable status, and nothing happens…

Can you provide me some url, or point to start looking the solution. What are the requirements for the plugin, to search and possible fix it..

      Thanks a lot.

    2. Hi Mario,

Please see the http://www.upperbound.net/2009/03/snap-open-on-a-mac article. A few quirks still needs to be ironed out. Please report you findings there.

      Regards,
      Mads
