    1. Hello Mads,
I’m Mario Zaizar from Mexico, I would like to help you to improve your snap open plugin, and some other cool stuff.

As I can’t commit changes to your code (unless you provide me an access privilege), I’m just forked your source, and did some small changes, If you like you can view it at this url: http://github.com/mariozaizar/gedit-snapopen-plugin .

What to you think about merge his code to my branch? to got all the fixes for that issues. Also, I have an other plugin that opens files by content text, I hope you like it, and be useful to others:)

      What do you think?

    2. Thanks for this very useful plugin.
It would be great to have the search field prefilled with the text selected in the editor, avoiding to double-type the text to search

    3. Thank you. I have written in as a github issue. I think your idea is great, and I will definately implement it soon.
